My torrent takes forever to download

 · Hello, I was trying to download a torrent and it appears that something is wrong. It keeps on 'downloading metadata' forever. I have done the following tests: Tried on 3 PC (Also 1 Mac)-Re-installing the software-Other torrent files (bltadwin.rut without the magnet) I hope I can fix this, Thanks. Here's another answer why the torrent download is slow even internet speed is high. Some telco/network provider have speed cap for torrent download. Try see your telco/network provider TC like speed cap for torrent download. Some because of our settings.  · If you can download a torrent on another network (particularly a fast wifi network), then it’s likely that your wifi network is causing the issue. To fix this, tap on Menu, then Settings, then Incoming TCP Port in our app. Look at the TCP Port number, and increment it up by bltadwin.ruted Reading Time: 3 mins.

Talent, OR. . #5. So, for the benefit of anyone with a stuck download (mine was stuck for about 2 weeks), this fixed it for me. I used my phone app to schedule a service appointment. I chose "Software Update" as my type of service, and entered a short blurb describing that the download had been stuck for a long time. Posted Aug. My torrents have worked for about 2 weeks and have downloaded fine, but a few days ago, whenever i try to download a torrent, it always stays stuck at connecting to peers. Sometimes it goes to Downloading %, but then it goes back immediately to connecting to peers. I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security. Step 2 - Check Download Server Speed - If your connection is okay, the problem might lie in the "server" speed" of the download server. Whenever you download a program off the Internet, you PC is basically connecting to another PC (called a 'server') and downloading a series of files from that.

When adding torrents to uTorrent, they will sometimes take anywhere form 5 minutes to several hours to start downloading. This is not due to lack of seeds, this happens to torrents with hundreds of seeds. If that torrent works fine then your issue is likely that you have fake torrents (with fake seeds/leeches), best to delete them move on. Otherwise, general stuff you can double-check when having issues with torrent speeds: Try disabling uTP in your torrent client see how that goes. Are you connectable (port forwarded)? For your torrent client test the client's connection port with something like bltadwin.ru see if the test passes. If it does not pass then you need to manually. Turn off proxy, wait for metadata to download, turn on proxy and it keeps downloads. This is using docker inside a FreeNAS VM of RancherOS. The proxy used is privateinternetaccess.
